Welcome back for part 2 of our Detox for Your Skin series – this episode is all about Lymphatics’ Role in Combating Acne.
Our conversation today focuses on the lymphatic system and its importance for skin health. Katie gives us a rundown of what the lymphatic system is, and how it works together with other organs to remove toxins and waste from the body, supporting the immune system, and maintain fluid balance in the skin.
We cover many different techniques, like gua sha and dry brushing, which can help stimulate the lymphatic system, encourage drainage, and reduce puffiness and swelling of the skin.
Don’t ignore the lymphatic system on your acne journey! It is just as important as other body systems, and giving it a little love goes a long way.
The lymphatic system is like the garbage truck. It’s going around, picking up all the bad stuff, the intruders, the toxins, the bacteria that’s not supposed to be there.
