It’s super duper rare that we see a client come in with just acne alone and not a single other symptom hanging out.
Because acne itself is a symptom… and generally, multiple symptoms show up at the same time.
They usually start coming in one at a time until you have a whole slew that you’ve probably kinda forgotten about because it’s just part of you and “normal.”
Symptoms like…
Low energy and basically need a coffee IV to make it through the day.
Brain fog that makes getting through the to-do list all that much more difficult.
Bloat that makes you only want to wear stretchy yoga pants because you look 5 months pregnant by 2 PM.
Constipation that leaves you feeling heavy and uncomfortable from not getting rid of all that poop every day.
Chronic diarrhea which has you planning your exit routes every time you leave the house.
Cravings that have you binging on boxes of cookies and bars of chocolate because you can’t stop yourself.
PMS that sneaks up and turns you into a hormonal monster that snaps at people and eats everything in sight.
Painful periods that make you take sick days from work and become best friends with the heating pad and Advil.
Anxiety and mood swings that leave you feeling on edge most of the day.
Trouble sleeping because your brain has decided to run a marathon at 11 PM.
Stubborn weight that won’t budge no matter what (thank God high-rise pants are back in style – let’s hope Gen Z doesn’t cancel these on us, too).
Allergies that drive you absolutely crazy whenever you go outside.
Headaches that plague your day and make your head throb horrendously.
All of these?
Symptoms.
Right alongside acne.
And most often, the acne and the other “random” symptoms are all stemming from the same imbalances inside the body.
They’re essentially the body’s check engine light that you’ve been ignoring and “taping over the light” with pills and topicals.
One of our past clients in The Clear Skin Solution, Samantha, was in a similar situation. She battled acne pustules on her cheeks, near her nose, and along her jawline.
Plus, she had those annoying large cystic spots around her chin, jaw, and neck. Occasionally, she’d get breakouts on her back and chest, and random forehead pimples just to keep things interesting.
But that wasn’t it.
Samantha was also dealing with IBS, which made her super nervous at work. As a teacher, she didn’t have the luxury of sprinting to the bathroom whenever her bowels decided to move quickly.
Not to mention getting sick all the time, having heavy periods, and struggled to fall asleep.
Symptom after symptom.
So when she came into The Clear Skin Solution, we spent 8 months fixing those imbalances in her body that were causing all those symptoms.
Here’s what she had to say about her journey…
When she focused on fixing the imbalances, not only did her symptom of acne clear up…
…But so did her symptoms of IBS, crappy sleep, and heavy periods.
As she said in the video, she feels more at home in her body after committing to her health and putting in the work with us in The Clear Skin Solution.
That’s the power of digging deep into the root causes of symptoms and then spending time correctly fixing them (and not rushing the process).
