Acne-Friendly Coffee Latte

Cozy, acne-friendly lattes made without dairy or refined sugar, plus a bonus decaf latte that keeps cortisol and breakouts in check.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed Swiss water decaf coffee (see notes)
  • 1 cup unsweetened non dairy milk
  • 1 to 2 tsp raw honey or pure maple syrup (to taste)

Optional:

  • splash pure vanilla extract or pure almond extract
  • dash cinnamon
  • 1 scoop collagen powder

Instructions

  • Brew your coffee and set it aside.
  • Warm your non-dairy milk in a small pot over medium heat until it’s steamy but not boiling.
  • Add the brewed coffee, warm milk, sweetener, and any optional ingredients you’re using to a blender.
  • Blend on high for 20 to 30 seconds until everything is frothy and smooth.
  • Pour into your favourite mug and enjoy while it’s warm and cozy.

Notes

I always choose Swiss Water decaf because it uses a chemical-free, water-based process to remove caffeine. It keeps the flavour rich and smooth without relying on solvents, which is something I prefer for overall wellness and skin clarity. I’m a big fan of Kicking Horse organic, fair-trade coffee (roasted in Canada).
