Ingredients
1
pint
fresh strawberries
(washed and thoroughly dried)
1/2
cup
coconut butter
2
tbsp
maple syrup
1
tsp
matcha powder
(1-2 tsp)
1/2
tsp
vanilla extract
Pinch
of sea salt
Instructions
Prepare the strawberries and dip
Ensure the strawberries are completely dry to help the coating adhere properly.
In a double boiler on low heat, combine the coconut butter, maple syrup, matcha powder, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
Stir continuously until smooth and evenly coloured. Do not overheat.
Dip the strawberries
Hold each strawberry by the stem or use a toothpick. Dip it into the matcha mixture, turning to coat evenly.
Let excess coating drip off before placing the strawberry on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Place the coated strawberries in the refrigerator for about 15–20 minutes, or until the coating firms up.
Enjoy the strawberries fresh or store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days
