Homemade Gluten-Free Turkey Gravy

A rich and decadent turkey gravy for your holiday table.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups homemade chicken or turkey bone broth (sub store-bought chicken stock)
  • ¼ cup turkey drippings from pan
  • 1-3 tbsp arrowroot powder (depending on desired thickness)
  • ½ tsp unrefined sea salt
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried herbs (I use thyme or rosemary)

Instructions

  • Over medium heat, mix the drippings and desired amount of starch together. Cooking for a few minutes.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and stir constantly until the sauce thickens.

Notes

  • Need a bone broth recipe? Click here for my favourite one.
  • Want a thicker gravy? Ladle out a small amount of the gravy into a bowl and add a bit more arrowroot startch. Return this mixture to the gravy and mix well.
