Cacao Mushroom Latte

A creamy and decadent cacao mushroom latte that is packed full of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties and big-time health benefits.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups non-dairy milk* see notes
  • 1 serving of mushroom cacao powder*
  • 1-2 tsp raw cacao powder
  • 1-2 tsp raw honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp nut/seed butter of choice*
  • Pinch of sea salt

Optional Boosters:

  • 1 serving of collagen powder
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • On the stovetop, heat the milk in a small pot over medium-high heat.
  • Pour into a blender and add all remaining ingredients (including any boosters).
  • Blend on high until well combined and frothy (about 30 seconds).
  • Pour in your favourite mug and enjoy!

Notes

For the milk, use your favourite non-dairy option like almond, cashew or coconut. I used my homemade Coconut-Cashew milk made in my Almond Cow.
For the mushroom powder, I used one tablespoon of Harmonic Arts 5 Mushroom Chocolate. Four Sigmatic is another great option with their Mushroom Cacao with Reishi.
For the nut butter, try almond, cashew, or hazelnut. I most often use coconut butter also known as coconut manna.
